Reservations & Dining
Do I need a reservation to dine at PJ Lobster House?
- Pro Tip: Reservations are typically not needed for lunch.
How long is the typical dining time for a reservation?
To ensure all guests have a great experience, we allot table times based on party size:
- Parties of 1-2: 1 hour 30 minutes
- Parties of 3-4: 1 hour 45 minutes
- Parties of 5-6: 2 hours
- Parties of 7+: 2 hours 30 minutes
Please note: We offer a 10-minute grace period. Please call if you are running late.
Is there outdoor seating?
Yes! We have an outdoor deck equipped with heaters for the warmer seasons. Dogs are permitted on our outside deck, so feel free to bring your furry friends along.
Location & Parking
Where is your entrance located?
We offer two convenient ways to enter our establishment:
- Main Entrance: Located in the rear parking lot directly by Rocketship Park.
Main Street Entrance: Located through the Harbor Square Mall on Main Street.
What are the parking rules in Port Jefferson Village?
Port Jefferson utilizes a “Pay By Plate” program. You can pay at any physical meter or simply text “PJ” to 75498 to pay directly from your phone.
Parking Season Schedule:
- Peak Season (April 1 – Nov 25): Metered parking is in effect 7 days a week from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
- Off-Peak Season (Nov 26 – March 31): Parking is FREE all day, 7 days a week.
Free & Accessible Options:
- Handicapped Parking: Vehicles with a valid placard or sticker can park for free anywhere in the village without visiting a meter. Just ensure your placard is clearly displayed.
Barnum Avenue Lot: Free parking is available 7 days a week in the Barnum parking lot, located just a short, scenic walk from our restaurant.

What are your weekly seafood specials?
- Mon–Wed: All-Inclusive Dinner for Two Special ($90 price-fixed menu).
- Tuesday: All-You-Can-Eat Snow Crab Legs (Served 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM).
- Thursday: Lobster Fest (1 ¼ lb. Lobster, mussels, corn, and potato).
- Mon–Fri: Happy Hour from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM featuring $10 cocktails and discounted appetizers.
